..and an afternoon workshop to get you dance ready for an evening freestyle!  What more do you need??

4* Hotel set in the beautiful Irish countryside in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East, Carlow.

If you are looking to expand your dancing repertoire, want to make new friends and feel the need for a bit of adventure then you really need to join us for this fab weekend in Ireland.

The plan is to deliver 3 different sessions, each building on the one before. ending with a marvelous evening freestyle.

Starting with Blues Fundamentals.

All too often we believe that for our dancing to improve we need *more*:

• More moves
• More flash
• More complicated stuff

But what if I told you that your dancing can, and will, improve massively just by using the stuff you already have – but better!

By taking the basics and learning how to make them *more*:

• more smooth
• more stylish
• more fluid
• more effortless

By focusing more on the when and how and less on the what – suddenly so much more is possible.

Then Freedom to Travel

We are all searching to achieve freedom in our dance:

• Freedom to express ourselves
• Freedom to create magical moments with our partner that really capture the essence of the music
• Freedom to respond to the changes within the music, easily and smoothly.

But sometimes we can feel trapped:

• We’re fine doing moves at extension from our partner
• We’re becoming confident in close-hold

But what about that beautiful, fluid travel that allows the freedom to travel effortlessly around the dance floor with our partner?

There are so many beautiful ways to travel – you just need the freedom (and the skills!) to do so.

In this workshop we’ll help you to find the moments in the music where travelling around the floor would add so much to your dance.

And we’ll also give you the skills and ability to do so!

However, there is so much more to travelling than just putting one foot in front of the other…

We don’t want to march our partners around the floor…

We want to glide, gracefully and effortless using the music and the space around to make magic happen!

Which is why we are finishing with Pivot Magic!

Some of the most enjoyable, and sought after movements in social dancing – are all based on pivots!

• Those fabulous flowy ‘ocho’ type moves you see other dancers doing with ease… Pivots!
• Those moments when dancers appear to ‘hang’ in the air, held together in a beautifully gravity-defying moment… Pivots!
• Effortless changes of direction… Pivots!
• Stylish turns for both leads and follows… Pivots!

And do you know what is really exciting…?

When you know what you are doing – pivots can be really easy to incorporate into the dance you are already doing!
